Gilcrease Museum

Gilcrease Museum possesses the nation's finest and most comprehensive collection of art of the American West as well as documents and artifacts. Included are more than 10,000 paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures by 400 artists from colonial times to the present, over 250,000 Indian artifacts and more than 90,000 manuscripts, documents and maps. Virtually every item relates to the discovery and settlement of North America, with special emphasis on the Old West and the American Indian. Excellent museum shop.

Suggested admission donation: $3 for adults, $5 for a family. Accessible to the handicapped.

Alexandre Hogue Gallery

The Alexandre Hogue Gallery is located on the campus of the University of Tulsa and is run by the School of Art. The selection of exhibition paintings and sculptures changes seasonally, bringing in artists from around the world. It also hosts the annual Gussman Student Art Exhibition.  ADMISSION: Free

Cherokee Heritage Center at Tsa-La-Gi

Operated by the Cherokee National Historical Society, the Heritage Center complex contains an amphitheater, an ancient village staffed by native Americans who live like their 1700s ancestors, an 1896 cross-roads town, and the Cherokee National Museum and Chapel. The museum is located in Tahlequah.

Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame

The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame features Oklahoma's jazz greats and their contributions to the music world. The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame is located in the historic Greenwood District just north of Archer by the University Center of Tulsa.

Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Daily Admission is free.
A new convention center opened in October 1995 with accommodations for up to 700 attendees.
