1998 FALL ROUND-UP GOLF SCRAMBLE
Spunky Creek was again the sight of the 1998 SPE Fall Roundup Golf Tournament. This year 237 players hit the course for a day of fun and scramble golf. Some teams scrambled more than others, but a great time was had by all. Food was again plentiful on the course as well as the banquet hall. CSI came back with their famous meat pies. They were joined again by Wedge Wireline with grilled sausage. This year Computalog & Lion Resources volunteered to bring out the drink carts and furnished beverages to all golfers and volunteers. Halliburton provided a great lunch, and M-I Drilling Fluids took care of everyone at Dinner with fried fish. The girls from Vintage, and Diamond Energy were also back to assist with registration and the special holes. This year’s winning team with a score of 56 was Jarvis Hensley, John Songer, Dan Risener, and Brett Merrell, but congratulations go out to all the winners of all four flights.
